My name is Wendy C. Perrell and I am an Instructional Technology Facilitator at West Lee Middle School and Lateral Entry Mentor for Lee County Schools. The 2011-2012 school year will be my eleventh year in education. Prior to my educational career, I was a manager for RBC Centura and in the financial industry for nine years. I have an Bachelors degree in Management and Accounting from UNC Pembroke, completed my teaching certification for 6-12th grade Business/Marketing education at NC State and received my Masters of Education in Instructional Technology at East Carolina University. During the 2010 school year, I received **National Board Certification**. My goal is to assist fellow colleagues integrating technology with curriculum and instruction.

Outside of school, you will find me "keeping up" with my family and especially with my two daughters, Kaylyn and Madisyn. Both girls are active participants of the Lee County Gymnastics team and cheerleading at Lee County High School and Upward program. Our spare time and relaxation include beach trips to Oak Island, water tubing in the mountains or just swimming at the pool. I also enjoy photography of scenic views, especially of the beach or waterfalls.
