1. Students will continue to work on designing their sign for SRO Calendine's office door.
2. Signs should be completed and submitted to Ms. Clark before the end of class on Thursday, Oct. 2nd.
3. The top ten designs will be awarded with a prize and then submitted to SRO Calendine.

1. We will begin a classroom contest to design a sign for the SRO Calendine that can be displayed on his office door.
2. Students will receive instructions on criteria for sign and how to use Microsoft Publisher.
3. Files should be saved to student's home folder on school server.
4. Signs should be completed and submitted to Ms. Clark before the end of class on Thursday, Oct. 2nd.

Watch this video on the history of computers!

1. Begin the research project on a famous computer person. Names will be assigned by teacher! Assignment sheet: Famous Computer Person Research.doc
2. Use the Internet to research your assigned person. Then using the note sheet fill in your information before starting your Power Point assignment.
3. Once you have collected all your information, show the note sheet to the teacher.
4. Use Power Point to create a presentation about the person you researched.
5. All projects are due by the end of class on Friday, Sept. 26th and will be presented to the rest of the class on Monday, Sept. 29th and Tuesday, Sept. 30th.
6. Points will be deducted for any late projects after Friday, Sept. 26th!

1. Complete the Obj 1-Word search with vocab words.doc word search.
2. Choose 10 words from the word bank and use each word in a complete sentence on the back side of the page. Use proper grammar and check your spelling! Underline or circle each vocabulary word after writing the sentence.
